The journey of making takes time and effort. It is not the easy way, but it is deeply worthwhile—and even rewarding. I invite you into the 'Journey of Making' because it is a joy to experience. Through this process, you can truly be yourself, see yourself more clearly, and refine who you are.

Process

Initial Consultation

In our first meeting, we will discuss your vision, personal preferences in fit and materials, and the occasion for the garment. We can start from a blank canvas or you can bring in a few pieces you cherish to reference in fit and design.

Choose Material

Choose fabrics that speaks to you. You may buy your own fabrics and send them to me or you can let me know your preferences in fibers and colors, and I can resource them for you.

Measurements/ Pattern Creation

A unique paper pattern will be created to your measurements, allowing the garment to fit your body exactly as you desire. Once drafted, we can refine these patterns over time and reuse them to recreate the design in a variety of different fabrics.

Hand Cut & Sew

Each piece is hand cut and sewn by Jisun. Once the fabric is delivered, it will take up to 4-5 days to finish one garment.

Muslin samples and fittings are available depending on the design and the complexity.
